Use of Resources
Use of Resources (UoR) is an annual
assessment to evaluate how well Council’s manage and use their
financial resources. The assessment focuses on the importance of
having sound and strategic financial management to ensure that
resources are available to support the Council’s priorities and
improve services. This is represented through five themes:
- Financial Reporting
- Financial Management
- Financial Standing
- Internal Control
- Value for Money

examples of notable practice which were agreed by the Audit
